I wanted to give you an update following my Insertional Achilles Tendinopathy operation in Nov 2024 and slightly elapsed recovery during 2025 with setbacks.
I’m pleased to tell you that yesterday I achieved one of my key post-operative goals, to run a half marathon. I completed my 10th Great North Run in Newcastle under excellent conditions. Major achievement complete 😀
I’m also operational again as a Searher for Leicestershire Search & Rescue. My 10th Great North Run coincided with 10 years volunteering for Search & Rescue and I’ve been able to raise over £500
